Worforce 2040

Teresa Lubbers, President of the Sagamore Institute and former Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education, discussed the Institute's work advancing workforce development, educational opportunity, and civic engagement through research and cross-sector collaboration. She highlighted Sagamore's "Workforce 2040: Pathways to Prosperity" initiative, addressing demographic change, workforce readiness, employer needs, work-based learning, and lifelong learning. Ms. Lubbers also shared findings from the Institute's Failure to Launch report examining challenges facing boys and men, including educational attainment, workforce participation, and mental health.
