During a fireside chat style presentation, President Susan Heegaard interviewed Dr. Allison Barber who is chief executive officer of To the Hoop Strategies and chair of the Marvella Foundation in a fireside chat setting. Dr. Barber shared leadership lessons and inspiration from her career, which includes working as a grade school teacher in Merriville, Indiana, to a communications strategist in the White House and U.S. Department of Defense, and as the first chancellor of Wester Governor's University, to chief operating officer and president of the Indiana Fever.
