Ron Drotos began improvising on the piano as a child, creating the dinosaur sounds he heard in his imagination. He spent his teenage years playing in jazz and rock bands, and in 1985 received a Bachelor's degree in Music Composition from The University of Connecticut, where he studied with Hale Smith. A native of Buffalo, New York, Marcus Goldhaber, learned songs from the Great American Songbook from his mother, who played them on the piano. He is a three-time MAC Award Nominee and a multiple Broadway World Award nominee. He has performed in clubs world-wide with stops in Las Vegas, Nashville, London, Paris, and Berlin. Through many years, he has provided backing vocals for many artists in the studio and live. In New York, Woodruff has appeared at Joe’s Pub, 54 Below, The Beach Café, Pangea, and Chelsea Table + Stage. His shows, ‘I Believe in Love’ and ‘Welcome Home: Everybody Has a Story’ were nominated for MAC awards. Additionally, he has written and produced a tribute show 'Lovers Never Lose Certain Moments: The Lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman'. Although, as a backing vocalist, he is on many albums, 2025 marked the release of his first full-length album, 'Forever Me with Love', bringing together a collection of 14 beautiful tunes.
