Richard Skipper Celebrates Status In The Arts

Brady Amoonclark is the 2026 Arts Council of Rockland's Performing Artist and the Artistic Director of Children's Shakespeare Theatre. Brady has done practically every job there is to do in the theatre, starting as an actor, working as a stage manager and director, running lights and sound, choreographing and composing music, playwrighting, making costumes, taking tickets, and whatever it takes to make the magic happen. Brady loves the theatre and has a soft spot for musicals and new works. This past year, Brady has directed Cymbeline and Much Ado About Nothing with Children's Shakespeare Theatre, sang with the Rockland Pride Chorus, acted in The Crucible with Phoenix Theatre Company and in a workshop at Elmwood Playhouse, organized performers for a multicultural event, helped produce the Eastern Student Artists Guild Awards and sang through Passion with friends. She also loves to be in the audience. Lorna Dallas is an acclaimed soprano, actress, and cabaret artist celebrated for her extensive career in musical theater and cabaret in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Praised by jazz legends Dame Cleo Laine and Sir John Dankworth as “one of the finest singers of her generation,” she made history as the first American to play Magnolia in the West End revival of Show Boat. Bryce Edwards is a multi-instrumentalist and cabaret artist specializing in hot traditional jazz and early 20th-century popular music. A self-described vaudevillian troubadour, Edwards channels the spirit of the Jazz Age through vocals inspired by artists like Bing Crosby, Ted Lewis, Jack Teagarden, and Rudy Vallée. He performs banjo, ukulele, tenor guitar, and mandolin while reviving the humor, beauty, and youthful spirit of 1920s and ’30s popular music. Recent appearances include the Gotham Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Mabel Mercer Cabaret Convention, Birdland Jazz Club, and performances with various jazz ensembles throughout New York City. Rob Russell was born and raised in Babylon, New York, where his love of entertainment began early through family influences and visits to the filming of Captain Kangaroo. After studying musical theater at SUNY Fredonia and broadcasting at the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Rob built a multifaceted career as a singer, actor, host, and producer. He co-founded and managed the celebrated Royal Room Cabaret at The Colony Hotel in Palm Beach for nearly 20 years, earning acclaim for presenting and performing alongside Broadway and television stars. Today he performs throughout South Florida, hosts the popular Open Mic at Café Centro, broadcasts internationally on Legends Radio 100.3 FM, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook. Seth Sikes is a celebrated cabaret singer, director, and entertainer widely recognized as one of New York City’s most popular nightclub vocalists. Known for his energetic, emotionally rich tributes to legendary artists of the Great American Songbook, Seth has earned critical acclaim for performances honoring icons including Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli, and Bernadette Peters. His powerful vocals, humor, and deep emotional connection to classic material have made him a favorite among cabaret and concert audiences alike.
