Update - Francis Scott Key Bridge Replacement

In this video, I talk about the latest developments in the planning and design for the replacement Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland now that the conceptual design details were announced by the governor of Maryland on February 4, 2025. I also cover the idea of how our infrastructure projects need to become "antifragile" or at the very least, become robust and resilient. I also give my opinions about why I think that the current AASHTO design methodology for assessing the risk of bridge collapse due to ship impacts is overly rational and can produce wholly unreliable risk assessments.
