Wing Tucking + Stalling Demo (Dragon Gamedev, The Last Sanctum)
Wing tuck has been reimplemented in the new flight design, allowing the player to tighten their hitbox and change their flight trajectory. (The hitbox part hasn't been added yet). The player can now also stall (visible near the second half of the video). When reaching a low enough velocity, they will transition to fall brake ("parachute"). Fall brake can be used to land safely or aim at ground targets more easily, at the cost of losing height and being an easier target yourself. You can reenter flight state after a small windup, which will have an animation to visually communicate it, but that hasn't been implemented yet. ~~~~~ We're Lindwyrm Studios, the ones behind The Last Sanctum; an upcoming dragon survival game!
