Alice Neel - Friday, Week 67 (28/05/2021)

Ok, we have to land this plane! Usually my excursions demand that there's a return flight home, so we're going to bring it back to the place we started with a painting of the powerhouse that is Alice Neel. I always feel like these expeditions into unknown territories only make sense if you reflect upon them back at home base. I for one, love HOME. It's always where I ground myself. Because a life of constant vacations would be awesome for three, four weeks, but if you told me I had to travel for a year, I'd go nuts. I don't have that personality. I adore traveling, but I love the idea of travel because I know in the end, I'm going to end up back home again. You know how the say the "grass is always greener (...)", well I for one like my little patch of grass and dirt. It's far, very far from being a perfect yard, but it's home.
