The quattroengede 2026 at Lake Wolfgang is much more than just a gathering – it's the biggest festival for Audi and Quattro fans. Around 350 vehicles from all over Europe transform the Salzkammergut region into the heart of the Quattro world for four days. Together with organizer Peter Reischl, we take a look behind the scenes of this unique event. The program includes the legendary mountain drive up the Tauplitzalm, the spectacular eighth-mile drag race at Laakirchen airfield, the circuit, and numerous encounters with the people who still live and breathe the Quattro experience. A particular highlight is the interview with Roland Gumpert. The former head of Audi Motorsport and pioneer of numerous rally world champions talks about the success story of the Quattro drive system, its technical development, and the special enthusiasm these vehicles still inspire decades later.
