From the colorful world-building to the emotional story about family and remembrance, this film is truly magical. PLOT: Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), a 12-year-old aspiring musician, finds himself in the Land of the Dead after defying his family’s ban on music. With the help of charming trickster Hector (Gael García Bernal) and unforgettable characters, Miguel learns the importance of family, tradition, and following his heart. And I cried a LOT along the way. This movie is everything: beautiful, emotional, and inspiring.
