I finally understand why this movie means so much to so many people. From the stunning Colombian-inspired visuals to the emotional story about expectations, identity, and belonging… this film is honestly beautiful in every way. PLOT: Mirabel (Stephanie Beatriz) grows up in a magical family where everyone has a special power; everyone except her. When the miracle begins to fade and their house, Casita, starts to crack, Mirabel sets out to save her family’s magic. Along the way, she learns the truth about the pressures they carry, the things left unspoken, and what it really means to be part of a family. And yes… I cried. A LOT.
