PHILIPPINES RARE RIVER FISH - Province Beach Home Cooking (Davao, Mindanao)

THESE RARE RIVER FISH ONLY COME OUT ONCE A YEAR IN CATEEL, DAVAO ORIENTAL... Locally called "hipon", there is a superstitious belief involving this fish in Cateel. And the other day, myself and Jandee came across them in the market. We had both seen them once before with Mama Rose, but this was the first time we were able to buy some for ourselves and cook them! Speaking of cooking... our Filipino master Chef Jandee made two dishes with them. Banana leaf inon-unan, and torta pancake. It was a great experience getting a chance to cook with these rare river fish... that have no bones! Philippines beach home life is back... and we are enjoying our days now here along the east coast of Mindanao. Cateel Province life continues... POWER ON!
