Prince & Mayte's NPG Dance Company

In 1997, Garcia was billed as the "Director" & "leading" The NPG Dance Company. A recent interview with a former Paisley Park employee (Jacqui Thompson) triggered me into making this vid. Hearing her mention Garcia's "dance connections": it was just too much at this point. Garcia was scheduled to be lead dancer in the production of Prince's three act "Around The World In A Day". I'm sure Garcia has a GREAT story as to why she didn't dance. Could it be her actual "ability" & "talent" when she actually had to perform in a choreographed piece? Coincidentally, Garcia now claims (on her 99% inaccurate time line in her "book") that she miscarried on Nov 19th, 1997. Like almost all of Garcia's "stories" they work to her advantage while offering no basis in facts (particularly when one knows Prince's life or views Prince's DOCUMENTED work history), other than to always give Garcia an excuse or make herself an innocent victim. Garcia considers herself such an accomplished dancer that she still refers to the other actual REAL dancers in the NPG Group as her "kids". Garcia's actual "performance" history reflects her true "abilities". Garcia has been a "dancer" for 40 YEARS yet only has ONE "performance" posted online, this despite the fact her father was a professional videographer?! Moreover, her story telling continues with her recent selectively worded posts to portray herself teaching at Alvin Ailey's School, as if she were an invited & honored guest. Like everything Garcia says and does the truth is in the factual DETAILS & not Garcia's twisted telling of events for her own per$onal benefit. It's said you can judge a person by the company they keep & nothing reflects this more than the FACT that Prince wanted nothing to do with Garcia for near TWENTY YEARS & also the company Garcia keeps in the form of her BFF & "spokesperson". A "spokesperson" who has spent near 20 years spewing vile things online about Prince and others. Of course, after Prince passed, it's all a different $tory now.
