Is This Derbyshire’s Most Picturesque Hidden Village? (Crich Walkaround)

Before heading back to Kent after helping friends move, I grabbed my camera and tripod at 7:50am on a Sunday morning to capture the historic atmosphere of Crich, Derbyshire. In this photography vlog, I meander through public footpaths up to the high peaks near the Crich Stand Memorial, capturing sweeping views of the valley and looking down over the vintage tramway railway. I then dive into the heart of the village, exploring the historic Crich Village Square, the old Baptist Chapel, the uniquely named Dimple Lane, and the mysterious Crich Reading Room erected in 1889. Along the way, I share a few real-world photography tips on dealing with modern visual clutter like parked cars, working with "vivid" camera settings, and a poignant personal reflection on family, loss, and the irreplaceable memories of our youth. Stick around until the end for the full photo gallery!
