Ｊ１鹿島始動 今季初の全体練習

J1 club Kashima Antlers began preparations for the 2026-27 season on July 7th. The team held its first full training session of the season at the clubhouse, with Matheus Bueno, who joined on a permanent transfer from Shimizu S-Pulse, joining the team. They set their sights on two major goals: winning the league title again and conquering the Asian Champions League Elite (ACL). The morning training session began at 10:00 AM, with a relaxed atmosphere as the players warmed up with activities such as jump rope. This was followed by a review of basic movements such as pass control. The afternoon training session focused on strengthening ball control through mini-games, lasting about an hour and a half. Kim Tae-hyun and Hayakawa, who participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup, were absent due to rest. According to the club, Kim Tae-hyun will rejoin the team after July 15th, and Hayakawa after the end of the training camp. The team will continue full training at the same location until July 8th, and will then begin a 10-day summer training camp at J-Village in Naraha Town, Fukushima Prefecture, starting on July 9th.
