We Took Our Family to Portland and This Happened!

Portland, Oregon completely surprised us. 🌲 We packed a weekend full of waterfalls, animals, tiny parks, and one MASSIVE bookstore — and honestly? We only scratched the surface. In this video we take you along for our first-ever trip to Portland as a family — from the breathtaking Multnomah Falls right into the heart of the city. If you're planning a Portland trip (especially with kids), this one's for you. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📍 EVERYTHING WE DID ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🌊 Multnomah Falls – Standing at 620 feet tall, this is the tallest waterfall in Oregon and one of the most iconic natural landmarks in the entire Pacific Northwest. We stopped here before even making it into the city — and it did NOT disappoint. The Benson Bridge view? Unreal. Best part: it's FREE and open to the public. 🦁 Oregon Zoo – Located inside Washington Park just outside the city, the Oregon Zoo is one of the best zoos we've ever visited. Elephants, polar bears, big cats, bald eagles, and hands-on exhibits that the kids absolutely loved. The setting feels like an enchanted forest — seriously stunning. 🌳 Washington Park Playground – Pro tip for families: after the zoo, the park right next door has a great playground to let the kids decompress. Built-in break = happy kids = happy parents. 🪴 Mill Ends Park – Officially the world's smallest park. We're talking about two feet wide. Only in Portland would this exist — and only in Portland would it be this charming. 📚 Powell's Books – We wrapped up the trip here and it was the perfect ending. Founded in 1971, Powell's covers an entire city block and is the largest independent bookstore in the world. Color-coded rooms, new and used books side by side, and our kids genuinely lost themselves in it. Slow, calm, and completely Portland.
