The TEA ☕️ on being a Christian Virgin Waiting for Marriage (PT 5 - Honoring Marriage While Single)

Welcome back to Adara’s Altar! A personal example of what I spoke of in the video about honoring one’s parents as a woman actually involved my Grandma Carmen whose marriage testimony I’ve shared (God confirmed her husband by a prophetic dream before she met him, they married and their marriage was lifelong till she became a widow). There was a time when my grandma was thinking of divorcing my grandpa when they were young, and God warned her it was not His will for her to divorce in two ways: 1) Grandma received a dream showing my mom’s sister, who was small at the time, crying at Grandma’s wedding to a different man (as in, God was warning Grandma it would harm her daughter to divorce and marry a different man) 2) while others were encouraging Grandma to divorce, Grandma’s dad, my great grandfather, told her “no, nena (little girl). Don’t leave Ruben (my grandpa). He is a good man.” To this day, my grandma has told me choosing to obey her dad and not leave her husband was the best decision she ever made. But it was her father the Lord used to confirm to her my grandpa was her God-ordained husband even when their marriage endured hardship. My maternal grandparents’ marriage lasted 49 years until my grandpa passed in 2013.
