Basketball 101: Catching
There are several fundamental skills you must work on when stepping onto the basketball court: passing, shooting, dribbling, rebounding and, notably, catching. Being able to properly catch can help an offense run smoothly. When a teammate passes you the ball, you want to step into the pass with both hands presented in front of you. After you secure the catch with both hands, you should transition into the triple-threat position.
