Mushihimesama-Futari Original 1CC - Reco Normal

Damn this game rocks. The original Mushihimesama is still a great shmup in its own right, but Futari blows it out of the water in almost every way. It's a lot harder too. This 1cc of Original mode took me longer than expected and overall felt almost as hard as the first Mushi on Maniac. The first two stages are pretty chill outside of a couple of scary stage 2 moments but stage 3 jumps to the level of the first Mushi's stage 5 and it only gets crazier from there. Reco normal is the "sane default" shot type in this game. Slowish movement speed, a wide covering rapid shot and a more narrow laser shot that does decent damage but nothing crazy like Abnormal Palm. Honestly this run was a lot less clean than what I'd usually upload onto the channel but getting through stage 5 no-miss for the first time in an actual run (with only 1 bomb used at that!) and some clutch moments against Larsa makes it pretty hype imo. Also forgive the shitty OBS window at the start and end of the video I had to use full-screen capture for some dumb reason. The game has a neat scoring system too. When your gem chain counter is green, use rapid shot to build up chain value, and use focus shot when the chain counter is blue. Gems collected give additional score when you collect them right as they spawn, encouraging risky/aggressive play. However as you can tell I didn't really focus on that aspect in this run as I was focusing more on Big Juicy Cancels and survival, especially after stage 2.
