Salamander 2 1-ALL (up to 2-1) 807,300 points 沙羅曼蛇２ １周クリア（２−１まで)

My first upload in a while! Got this 1-ALL on the Gradius Origins collection released by M2. This is a game I hadn't played before this re-release, but it has now become my favourite of the bunch if anything. Very cool and dynamic-feeling shmup with a great 90's artstyle and soundtrack. I got a weird sound bug near the end after killing the stage 6 midboss. I think this is one of the highest scoring loop 1s on the leaderboard as of uploading. I managed to get both secret bonuses and some good enemy destruction rates throughout. I also played as Vic Viper (player 1 side) which technically makes the game slightly harder because player 1 gets a slightly higher rank ceiling, which makes a noticeable difference in stage 5. I take an intentional death halfway through the stage just to make the rank more manageable for the last parts of the run (although the second death on the stage 5 boss was not intentional lol).
