Call of Cthulhu is a slow burn terror investigation game where players will want to think about their actions and heavily plan it out because one wrong move can spell disaster for one or more of the characters, Call of Cthulhu is designed to help people think before they act, and soak in all the clues as well as sanity crushing terror that the mythos has to offer. On the other hand, Pulp Cthulhu is a great game for those who wish to play characters full of bravado. More akin to traditional RPG's, kicking down the door is something that is encouraged in Pulp Cthulhu. Making quick decisions with your fists is more than welcome in this add on to the Call of Cthulhu game system because you're much more survivable and can handle whatever the mythos throws at you.... at least for a while.
