Boyd Lake State Park Colorado - Boating & Family Camping - Full Review

We're Bill and Christina, and we're sharing our review of Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado! This popular park is perfect for boating, with a great marina offering jet ski, pontoon boat, and kayak rentals right near the campground and swim beach. We stayed in the brand-new Loop A with full hookups (water, electric, and sewer) and explored Loops B, C, and D which have electric only. We'll tell you about the amenities including free hot showers, laundry facilities, the paved bike trail that circles Loveland, and why this park books up fast on summer weekends. Plus, we discuss the concrete pads, lake and mountain views, proximity to shopping and our grandkids, and the pricing ($36-43/night plus day-use fee). We also cover the quirky shower situation in some bathhouses and why spring and fall are the best times to visit. Two thumbs up—we love this park and keep coming back!
