Mount Hood: Up the Hogsback and Through the Pearly Gates
Volcano Ski Extravaganza, Part 2. Less than 18 hours after climbing and skiing Mt. Saint Helens we head south to Oregon where we climb and ski one of Americas most visited summits on Mount Hood. Ever our constant companion, the wind once again pushes us around like an invisible bully. And for the record this was one of the most brutal descents I've ever done on skis. The ice and wind combined to ensure our descent was a memorable one.
