Epic Road Trip With Pavement Pounder Events

We were in need of a road trip after reassembling the '65 Impala SS from rust repair and rewiring the car. So, we packed up and headed to Des Moines, IA to meet up with Pavement Pounder Events group. They were running the Motor City to Wheeel Hub Live trip. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to Des Moines before the Impala's differential fell apart. We got towed the last 30 miles to our hotel, put it back together and limped it over to Karl Kustoms to have them fix it correctly while we were on the tour. Road trips should be adventures, and our was certainly an adventure.
