Giving aids while riding is a mystery to many. The basic technique is well described. The "how" is no secret. The "why" is rather difficult to understand for many riders, especially at the beginning of their riding training. So, aids are given because someone says they should be given, but why these aids should be given and how they work and interact remains a mystery to many. Isn't it desirable to explore the story behind the aids? Is it desirable to understand why a horse tends to react the way it should? If you know what reactions an aid can trigger, it's easier to give the appropriate aid. In the video series, which was first provided in August 2019 by Thomas Wamser, Trainer A (FM), Course Designer M** (FN), Coach, and Business Trainer (IHK), the riders of the Karben Riding and Driving Club have the opportunity to deepen their theoretical understanding of their riding lessons afterward and to try out the thoughts and wishes that arise from the video recordings in a subsequent training session on the horse. Most of the four-legged protagonists will be the school horses of the RuF Karben. With the help of the school horses, not only are basic principles of aiding and general riding skills taught, but areas of great importance for horses are also addressed, which school horse riders often fail to notice. The focus of Thomas Wamser's work and the team at the riding facility is the Ludwigsbrunnen riding facility in Karben. Karben is located just north of Bad Vilbel and Frankfurt am Main. In other films, the team around Thomas Wamser addresses many topics related to riding. The focus is on riding, but everything related to "normal" training is also covered.
