After more than a decade: The first few meters of new footpath at the planetarium! ➡️ A surprise at the planetarium's grounds: After more than 10 years of closure, the first asphalt is here! The first few meters of the new footpath towards the palace gardens are complete. ➡️ The path isn't completely continuous yet, but it's the first visible gap closed after what feels like forever. As a reminder: In early summer 2015, the old footpath was torn up for the construction of the Nesenbach culvert. Recent press reports mentioned a need for coordination between the railway and the city – which makes this sudden progress all the more welcome. We'll take a detailed look at the new, first few meters of asphalt from all angles. The centerpiece is the conversion of Stuttgart Central Station from a terminus station to a through station.
