2 Kings 4:1 A certain woman, one of the wives of the sons of the prophets, cried out to Elisha, saying, "Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that he feared the Lord. The creditor has come to take my two sons to be his slaves." 2 Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me what you have in the house." She replied, "Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil." 3 Then he said, "Go, borrow vessels from all your neighbors—empty vessels, not a few. 4 Then go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour your oil into all those vessels; set aside the full ones by themselves." 5 So she went away from him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought her the vessels, and she filled them. 6 When the vessels were full, she said to one of her sons, "Bring me another vessel." But he replied, "There is no vessel left." And the oil stopped. 7 So she went and told the man of God, and he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt, and you and your sons can live off the rest."
