Amarok Glow Plugs P0672
Unlike petrol engines, diesel engines have no spark plugs to ignite the air/fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. Diesels, use compression ignition or extremely hot air created by high compression ratios to ignite the diesel fuel. However, that makes cold starts difficult, so glow plugs are used to heat up the chamber air to make the mixture easier to burn which reduces the cranking time required to start the engine. These bad boys by NGK get up to temperatures at the tip of 1350ºC! That’s pretty spicy!!!
