Turning My 1968 Chevelle SS Into a Hellcat/LS Powered Monster! (Project Update)

The Hellcat Chevelle project is making serious progress! In this episode of Floyd’s Speed Shop, I take you on a full walkaround of my 1968 Chevelle SS 396 project and show just how far we’ve come. The body is now completely stripped down. The interior has been removed, the doors are off, the dash is out, the rusted floor sections have been cut away, and the entire shell has been pressure washed. It’s officially an empty canvas that’s ready for the next phase of the restoration. Then we check out the finished rolling chassis featuring the drivetrain that has everyone talking—a 4.8 LS topped with a Hellcat supercharger. Seeing the body and chassis side by side really shows where this build is headed. This isn’t a how-to video—it’s a behind-the-scenes progress update where you can follow the build from abandoned barn-find to what I hope becomes one of the wildest street Chevelles around.
