If there is no condemnation, why do I still feel condemned?

If there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, why do so many believers still feel condemned? Romans 8 shows us that freedom from condemnation does not mean freedom from conviction, consequences, discipline, suffering, or the ongoing battle against sin. It means that Jesus Christ has already borne the judicial sentence of everyone who belongs to Him. This message explores what it means to be in Christ, walk after the Spirit, mortify sin through the Spirit, receive the Spirit of adoption, and cry, “Abba, Father,” when guilt and fear make God seem distant.
