Gyeonggi Province, Hwaseong City, the Korea Water Resources Corporation, and the developer, Shinsegae Group, signed an agreement to promote local job creation and mutually beneficial cooperation. They pledged to prioritize hiring local talent and expand the participation of local businesses to foster mutual growth. Phase 1 includes the Paramount Theme Park, Shinsegae Starfield, and a golf course, and will be developed in stages until 2050.
