A Voice Raised for Allah | Stories of Hope
Five times a day, Uncle Abu Hussein’s voice rises through the camp, bringing calm and hope to tired hearts. For 35 years in Arakan, and 9 years in the camp, he has never stopped calling the adhan. Despite age, loss, and the hardship of displacement, his voice remains strong. He built this mosque with his own hands and stayed close to its mihrab, dedicating his voice and years to Allah. At 80 years old, Abu Hussein’s story reminds us that what truly remains from a person is what was done for the sake of Allah.
