Is the Kove Excelle 625X ADV 2026 Unrivaled in its Class? The New King of Adventure Motorcycles.

Kove Motorcycles has officially announced the pricing for the 625X model. The standard version is priced at 31,777 yuan, while the version with smart suspension is 35,777 yuan. The successor to the Kove 500X and 525X, known as "touring motorcycle legends," the 625X has become a rare and best-selling model in a stagnant market since its launch, thanks to advanced features such as electronic dampers and millimeter-wave radar. The officially released version has exceeded expectations in terms of both price and configuration. Both versions are incredibly generous; the only differences in configuration are the rear electronic damper, onboard camera, and tire brand. Features previously only available on top-of-the-range models, such as KYB front suspension and spoked wheels, as well as the latest technologies like millimeter-wave radar, are now standard across the entire range. In this way, the standard version of the Excelle 625X reaches the level of already high-spec competitor models, while the version with electronic dampers becomes a premium upgrade option offered at a lower price point. The most notable innovation of the Excelle 625X is its rear electronic damper. The 625X's electronic dampers come from Xijian Group, founded in 1951 and one of the first professional damper manufacturers in New China. Currently, it is China's number one damper supplier and among the top ten internationally; supplying over 90% of domestic car manufacturers and over 50% of European and American car manufacturers. Xijian's products are widely used in vehicles from well-known companies such as FAW, SAIC, Dongfeng, Changan, Geely, GAC, Great Wall, BYD, Voyah, Li Auto, XPeng, NIO, Nissan, Renault, Mercedes-Benz, Baozhong, GM, Ford, and Stlantis. This automotive-grade electronic damper completely solves the adjustment problems of traditional mechanical dampers. This intelligent suspension system supports a seat height adjustment range of 795-820 mm and features a special "Welcome Mode"; it automatically lowers to a low position of 795 mm when the vehicle is started, allowing even passengers up to 165 cm tall to comfortably stand on both feet, maximizing safety during low-speed maneuvers. It raises the body to increase ground clearance at speeds above highway speed-sensitive aya/s and returns to a low position when the speed drops below 30 km/h. Furthermore, the system offers two user-defined modes: Highway Special and Off-Road Special, allowing for real-time adjustments to the rear damper operation without stopping, adapting to various scenarios such as unpaved gravel roads and city paved roads. In terms of power, it's equipped with a 581cc inline twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing a maximum power of 47 kW (64 horsepower) and 57 Nm of peak torque. Combined with a 270° crankshaft design, it boasts a deep, resonant sound approaching that of a V-twin engine, while also providing best-in-class vibration control. Kove, a specialist in ADV models, has also integrated several targeted designs addressing the pain points of ADV users. Features such as a height-adjustable windscreen, high-brightness spotlights, heated grips and seat, hot air vents, a fuel tank storage box, and non-slip pads for the fuel tank are all standard on the 625X, significantly reducing aftermarket modification costs for users. In terms of safety features, it's the first model in its class to offer a millimeter-wave radar system, enabling three key functions: Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Lane Departure Alert (LCA), and Rear Collision Warning (RCW). When changing lanes at high speeds, warning lights in the rearview mirror help avoid blind spot risks in real time, making them a lifesaver feature for long-distance motorcycle tours.
