Approximately 23 km long, it is surrounded by the Pisz Forest and largely located within a nature conservation area. Due to the quiet zone and restrictions on vessels with combustion engines, exceptionally peaceful conditions prevail here, which have long attracted sailors seeking contact with nature. Its distinctive, well-developed shoreline, numerous bays, and islands make Lake Nidzkie one of the most beautiful lakes in Masuria. 🛶 Krutynia River The Krutynia is considered one of the most beautiful kayaking trails in Poland, and by many, one of the most interesting lowland trails in Europe. The entire trail is over 100 km long and leads through picturesque lakes, forests, and the Masurian Landscape Park. The crystal-clear water, calm current, and abundant wildlife make it an ideal place for both beginner kayakers and those seeking a peaceful connection with nature. In the surrounding forests, you can encounter, among other things, squirrels. Beavers, otters, moose, and hundreds of bird species. 🌲 Ruciane-Nida Ruciane-Nida is one of the most important Masurian tourist towns, located on the edge of the Pisz Forest, between Lakes Nidzkie and Guzianka. The town was created by merging the former towns of Ruciane and Nida, and today it is an important point on the Masurian sailing map. It is from here that many sailors begin their cruises on the southern part of the Great Masurian Lakes.
