Complete Hussif Setup with DIY Scissors Case

I just had 2 more items to go into my hussif and so in this video I'm making a lovely scissors case and also a Chinese Thread Book. The scissors case had to be removable because I like to wear it around my neck on a chain when I'm sewing. The scissors had to be secured so they wouldn't drop out either. I'm using some indigo dyed fabric that I was given as part of a fabric swap. The button closure was made from a stick and painted. Another item that I needed was some way of keeping the ends of threads when I'm sewing away from my work table and thread jar. I saw a tutorial online for a Chinese Thread Book. They're usually made from paper but I thought I'd try to make one from stiffened fabric. After a trial with a paper one I made it with the same indigo fabric. It looks lovely as part of my hussif, which is now complete and ready to go with me wherever I am sewing.
