Madlanga Commission: IDAC Boss Andrea Johnson's Gmail Leak to General Khan EXPOSED

Explosive testimony at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry has implicated Advocate Andrea Johnson, head of the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC), in leaking a confidential criminal docket to suspect General Khan — allowing him to prepare his defence before he was even charged. Colonel Kobus Roelofse and Witness O testified that on 3 July 2018, Johnson used a personal Gmail account to send a complainant's statement, a J88 medical report, and an audio file — then ordered Witness O to print the documents for Khan and "delete the emails." Witness O disobeyed and kept the evidence, which shows Khan received the docket over an hour before his warning statement was officially commissioned. The commission also heard that when Roelofse blew the whistle to DPCI Head Lt. Gen. Lebeya in 2022, Johnson allegedly learned of the disclosure through NPA Head Advocate Shamila Batohi's office — a possible breach of protected whistleblower principles. Separately, Witness N detailed extortion and assault allegations against senior IDAC investigator Sunil Bellochun, accused of running a "protection fee" racket.
