Father to the Fatherless

"Father to the Fatherless" — Psalm 68:5 / Romans 8:15 A father to the fatherless. That is who He is. That is His name for this. I grew up looking for what only He could give. And I looked for it in a lot of places that were not Him. And I found what happens when you look for the Father in people who were not designed to fill that space. And then I found Him. The One who was there before I knew I was looking. Who had been a Father to me in every season my earthly father was not. Who had never left. Who saw every moment of the searching and loved me through all of it. You were never without a Father. He was there the whole time. Psalm 68:5 — a Father to the fatherless.
