A very special Volkswagen: The "velvet red special beetle" built in 1984. It quickly became an icon. Its exclusive equipment and its lovingly complemented design line gave it a special character. It still has fans today - and not just in Germany. Gunhild Liljequist became the first female designer at Volkswagen and set standards, especially for the special models.
