Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT)
This webinar introduces the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT), which is a tool designed for the critical appraisal stage of systematic mixed studies reviews, i.e., reviews that include qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods studies. More specifically, the webinar addresses the following questions: what it is and when and how to use it. A parallel will also be done with other appraisal tools used in social care services evaluation. The webinar is held by Annie Tessier, scientific coordinator at Institut national d'excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS), Quan Nha, assistant professor at University of Montreal and Marie-Claude Sirois, Directorate of Evaluation and Support for Improvement of Interventions – Social Services and Mental Health, Institut national d'excellence en santé et en services sociaux (INESSS).
