Grainfather All Grain Kits First Look (What’s Actually in the Box?) | The Malt Miller

Taking a first proper look at the new Grainfather All Grain Brewing Ingredient Kits — and yes, we’ve opened them up to see what’s actually inside. These aren’t extract kits or shortcuts dressed up as something else. They’re full all-grain recipe kits, built around Grainfather’s own recipes, with everything measured out and ready to go. Crushed grain, hops, yeast, the lot — all packed properly and clearly labelled so you’re not scrambling around on brew day trying to figure out what goes where. In this video we go through a couple of the kits in detail, talk through the recipes, and give you a feel for the quality of the ingredients and packaging. There’s a decent spread of styles in the range too — from a proper West Coast IPA through to a stout and a pilsner — so there’s something here whether you’re into hops, malt, or something a bit cleaner. One of the big things with these is that every recipe is already built into the Grainfather app. So once you’ve got your kit, your entire brew day is mapped out — mash steps, hop additions, timings — all sitting there ready to follow. If you’re brewing on a Grainfather system it’ll even handle control side of things, but it works just as well as a guide on any all-grain setup. This is very much about making all-grain brewing easier to pick up and more consistent, without taking away the hands-on part that makes it worth doing in the first place. If you’ve been thinking about getting into all grain, or just want a solid, well-built recipe without the prep, these are well worth a look. Full range here: https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/produ...
