Fishing on the French carp lake Lac de Villedon (https://www.thecarpspecialist.co.uk/c...) was quite tough in 2021... less carp were caught this year compared to previous years, but fortunately quite a lot of large ones. Many speculations soon followed: there would have been a huge carp mortality, the fish would have been sold, etc. Our French cameraman Mathieu was on site at Saturday 29th of January 2022 to film the release of the carp. In total, approximately 800 carp have been returned to Villedon, including the well-known MONSTER CARP from Villedon, but also numerous beautiful koi and heavily scaly mirror carp.
