Shifen & Jiufen - Cascade și cozi interminabile | Șoferul de bus nu a vrut să ne ia | Travel#185

We made an itinerary with the sights that caught our eye around the capital, and we set off as early as we could. Of course, if you rely on public transport, in addition to the fact that it takes longer and the queues are long, the connections are not the best either, so we spent the whole day on the road. The first objective is Shifen, a tourist village, which reminded me a bit of the markets over the railway in Southeast Asia. In addition to the waterfall of the same name (Shifen), here we saw the most lanterns launched per minute, and we were saddened by the pollution left behind. We did not find public transport until the second objective, so we covered a good part of the way on foot, on a narrow winding road without a sidewalk or shoulder. At the end we found another waterfall, called Golden Waterfall, which besides being less spectacular than the other one, stole about 2 hours of our day (due to the lack of public transportation). The last objective was the arch-tourist town of Jiufen, where we got stuck in the mud, ate cheap food and drank expensive beer, then got annoyed that the bus drivers didn't want to pick us up, so that we could finally get to our accommodation.
