Seoul - În inima puterii din Coreea de Sud | Travel#192

We couldn't leave South Korea without visiting at least one palace or castle, so we started the day with a visit to the Imperial Palace. We were lucky to arrive on time to catch the changing of the guard, and then we took in the buildings in the complex one by one. The complex is large, you can easily spend a few hours walking around it, but we got hungry, so after about 2 and a half hours we looked for a restaurant in the area, where, after all that sweet stuff, we ate a yam with Korean dumplings. With full bellies we headed to the Blue House, another complex of buildings and gardens, where the executive office and residence of the president is actually located. It was interesting, and reminded us of the Independence Palace in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We then headed to Bukchon Hanok Village, a very Instagrammable area, but we arrived in the dark, and we didn't see much. However, I left thinking that maybe it would be worth a return to the light. I ended the day with some skewers bought from a 7-eleven.
