"What does Germany earn?" asks ZDF journalist Sarah Tacke, venturing into a field that remains one of the best-kept secrets in this country: salary. During the 45-minute documentary, she meets various people at various levels of the salary ladder. Tacke receives prominent help from Martin Brambach, "Tatort" detective and German Television Award winner. He slips into the fictional role of insurance salesman Schrader, who has an appointment with his boss: a salary negotiation. "Everyone's filling their plates. I want a piece of the pie, too!"
