The President of Belarus arrived in the Republic of Indonesia on an official visit. The Belarusian head of state was greeted with national flair. Indonesian music, dancing, an honor guard, and a motorcycle escort—all at the highest level. An unusual highlight was a flyover by military aircraft in honor of Alexander Lukashenko's arrival. These same Indonesian Air Force fighter jets escorted the President's plane on approach to Jakarta. The visit program includes talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in both narrow and expanded formats. Particular emphasis will be placed on prospects for developing relations in trade, economic, and investment spheres, as well as humanitarian cooperation. A number of international documents are expected to be signed following the talks. Chief among these is a roadmap for the development of key areas of cooperation between Belarus and Indonesia for 2026-2030. Alexander Lukashenko met with members of the Indonesian Government to discuss the implementation of key joint investment projects. The meeting was attended by the Indonesian side: Rosan Perkasa Ruslani, Minister of Investment, Chairman of the Investment Coordination Board, and CEO of the Indonesian Sovereign Wealth Fund Danantara; Aidi Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Agriculture and Chairman of the National Food Agency Bapanas; and Simon Aloysius Mantiri, CEO and President and Director of the state-owned oil and gas corporation Pertamina. "Dear friends, I believe you have already discussed many issues before this meeting. However, perhaps some issues have arisen that need to be resolved without further delay. I am prepared for this. I know that you also discussed issues in the areas of agriculture, supplies, and joint production of medical and veterinary drugs, as well as food products," the Head of State noted at the beginning of the meeting. "I want you to know: if there's anything we can do for you, please do so. We look forward to seeing you in Belarus. Take a look at our manufacturing companies and our enterprises. If anything interests you, consider it feasible. We have no closed areas of cooperation with Indonesia. On the contrary, we want to expand our cooperation. So let's negotiate," the Belarusian leader said. "If you want to invest in any enterprises, we will consider any proposals you may have. We would mutually want issues to be resolved without any red tape or delays if we establish joint ventures here for the production of goods of interest to you. Any area of ​​cooperation is possible. Just say what's needed. I emphasize again: to determine our capabilities, you should visit Belarus and see what the country is capable of."
