Wees stil en weet dat ek God is
Psalm 46:10 (NLT) “Be still and know that I am God!” In plaas daarvan om 'stil te wees' interpreteer die betekenis in hierdie psalm meer tot: 'ophou strewe' of 'stop om te veg', met die vyande van die kinders van God. Die volk van God moet self die opdrag interpreteer om meer te lees soos: 'onsnap daaruit', 'word wakker', 'hou op vrees' - erken wie jou God is - wees in ontsag! 'Om stil te bly' is dieselfde wat Jesus vir die wind en die golwe gesê het.
