Making lamb mince biryani - quicker than mutton biryani but just as good! 500g mince feeds 8-10

Hi all Wishing everyone a very happy easter. We decided to quickly show you a lamb mince biryani which will cook in a shorter time than mutton would and also goes a long way with just 500g of mutton mince! Ingredients 500g lamb mince 1 med onion, roughly diced 1/4 cup oil 1 tbs ghee 1 tsp crushed ginger and garlic 2 small tomatoes, grated 1/2 cup yoghurt 1/2 cup biryani dhal, soaked overnight 1 cup mixed veg 2 bay leaves cinnamon stick 1 tsp hurdee (tumeric) 2 tbs mixed masala 1 tsp dhania jeera powder roasted and ground biryani mixed spices 1 tsp garam masala 1 1/2 tsp rough salt, adjust to taste 5 small potatoes, fried 6 boiled eggs, also quickly fried curry leaves thyme fresh spring onions and dhania crispy fried onions 2 cups basmati rice star anise and bay leaf (added to rice to boil) 1 tsp rough salt Serve hot with dhal and salad:    • Basic dhal recipe - The one that goes with...
