Mount Athabasca Summer Editon 2024 (Part1)

Mount Athabasca AB August 10, 2024 Mount Athabasca, AB one of the classic 11,000ers in the Canadian Rockies (summer edition). The AA Col route offers steeper and more technical terrain, often requiring a mix of ice climbing and rock scrambling, even in summer. Finally, I got the opportunity to bag Mount Athabasca. I’ve been wanting to do this one for the past few years in winter conditions, but I kept missing the window every season mostly because I was busy chasing other objectives. So this time, I decided to go for it in summer conditions instead.
