Leg Strength & Flexibility Yoga Class - Five Parks Yoga

Join me for a class focused on building leg strength and flexibility as we work our way toward full splits! 🧘‍♀️ This sequence is designed to stretch and strengthen the hamstrings, hip flexors, and quadriceps, with options for all levels—whether you're working on half splits, full splits, or just looking to enhance mobility in your lower body. We’ll start with gentle stretches on the mat, incorporating props like blocks, straps, and towels (optional), then flow through a dynamic standing series to warm up the legs and challenge your balance. Expect a mix of movements to build heat, enhance flexibility, and stretch deeply into key muscle groups. By the end, you'll feel stronger, more open, and ready to approach the peak pose: Hanumanasana (Monkey Pose or Splits). Props are helpful but not required, and I'll guide you through modifications to meet you wherever you are today. 🌟 This is a fantastic class for runners, athletes, or anyone looking to release tight hips and hamstrings while building strength and stability.
