Mascarpone originated in the Lombardy region of northern Italy and is one of the most important ingredients in Italian pastry. It is mainly known for being the base of classic tiramisu, but it can also be used in many other recipes. In the video I explain: • how the cream coagulation technique works • what type of heavy cream is ideal to use • why mascarpone has a different texture than cream cheese • and how to adapt the recipe depending on the ingredients available in your region In addition, we did the official in-house test with Miako 🐾, comparing homemade mascarpone with store-bought mascarpone.
