Inktober 2025 Day 18 | How to Draw Middleton (Zentangle)

Welcome to Day 18 of Inktober 2025! Today’s tangle is Middleton, created by Yu Ru Chen. Middleton is a grid-based tangle, which is something I haven’t really done much of so far in this year’s Inktober Tangles series. I really enjoyed exploring this one. It reminds me a little of Cubine from Zentangle HQ, which has always been one of my favourites. This tangle has lots of possibilities for rotation, mirroring and layering to create interesting and dramatic effects.
